Perfumes Fit For Royalty
She’s made custom fragrances for Madonna, Pierce Brosnan, and Vivienne Westwood, but Hamburg perfumer Kim Weisswange recently added two especially illustrious clients to her list: Prince William and Kate Middleton! Most commoners are happy to save a bit of their hard-earned money with perfume coupons; having your own custom-created fragrance really takes luxury to the next level!
Kim is definitely qualified to make a fragrance fit for a king. She has 20 years of experience in the business, and she says her heart nearly stopped beating when she got a call from a representative for the royal family requesting that she create custom scents to be given as gifts at the royal wedding.
Kim has created a fragrance with a clear and powerful scent for Prince William, which is said to smell like English lavender. Kate’s perfume is said to be a warm and sensual blend of magnolia essence and rose.
Kim said she tried to design fragrances that would “underline the pair’s character and personality.”
This isn’t the first time Kim has worked for royalty – she created three fragrances for the Queen of England’s 80th birthday in 2006. Kim once created a single bottle of perfume for a Chinese businessman that cost $72,000, but she didn’t charge for this job – she said it’s “more about the honor than the money.” The bottles of these fragrances are very striking, but you won’t be able to use perfume coupons to buy them– these exclusive fragrances are being produced in an extremely limited quantity.
